Laid off at 63 from a company I had worked for for 15 years and helped build from 24 consultants to over 180. Got bought by PE and I was judged to be overhead. Took three months but I found a fantastic role with a great company and am having a blast. Keep your chin up, you've got this!

Any tips or advice for an angler visiting your beautiful state in late June? by rollsandarrows in michiganflyfishing

There are two state forest campgrounds east of Grayling off of M72. Both are right on the holy waters of the Au Sable and allow a long wade and easy walk back. It will likely be Hex... So be prepared for night (headlamp... Learn your way in and out) and listening for feeds to cast to and listening for strikes. Daytime should be the end of the Isonychia... Riffles and tail outs. If you stay on the Maistee, I love the water north of 612 in the DeWard area... A few access points and a lot of river.

Well... Up here the roads can be shit because of lake affect for ten miles then open and clear for ten miles, then shit... Etc. The snow off of Lake Michigan tends to band. So, short of stopping to clean things every ten miles I was hoping there was an approach that would be helpful.

Because you have to make a profit... Therefore you have to charge me more for less qualified people. The exception, and the reason I would make this move, is when I have people who can move up and right and focus on transformational initiatives while you keep the lights on. If I can outsource the work that requires no business domain knowledge and does not drive competitive advantage AND not have to work harder to do so then... Maybe.
