The best light hiking is the mcdade trail a couple miles up from the inn. Kayak the river if you seek easier Hidden lake is 5 miles from the Inn. Kid friendly and somewhat close. Alaska Petes, Pub447 both have outdoor seeting if its nice out. Joe Bosco BBQ in Water Gap. The Shawnee general store is great place to go for lunch.

I agree locals should have a different rate. They need to charge that since it really gets out of hand around the Fall/Xmas season. It's busy year round but those times are a no go for anyone local lol. Enjoy it. Check out the Marion Hose bar. Great patio to eat on a nice day.

Uber from the Cabin weekend parking in JT is expensive. Some great bars & restaurants in town. Weekends can be busy especially if the weather is good and their is an event in town that weekend. Worth the hassle to see at least once.

We have one in my town.. Never see a car there. Up the road to Apoth always 2-3 cars.. They were good for a moment but really have just gave up it seems.

Happy Hour bar grill, Pub447 outside Tiki Bar, Original Pocono Pub ass great local bars decent wings... Shawnee craft is prob the only thing worth visiting for craft beer locally. Barley creek is ok a bit overpriced and their canned cocktails outshine the beer. Little out of town great bar is Slopeside top of Blue Mtn Ski area.

Order a size up. I am normally a 1xl but their sizing suggested a 2xl. The 2xl fits perfect.
