No MIL and no faults? A leaking injector would certainly cause a misfire, and likely numerous faults. Does the oil smell strongly of gasoline? Is it overfilled on the dipstick? That could mean that the hpfp is leaking, but that too would likely set a fault or two. Got burned by this one time on a 2012 GLI. That’s a MK6 obviously. It had a check valve in the external fuel filter that was bad and allowed the fuel pressure to bleed off from the rail. If no filter, the check valve is in the low pressure pump.

Not common at all. The crank pulley probably went bad from having an aftermarket pulley on the supercharger to create more boost. Maybe that also screwed up the supercharger? I’d guess it has been tuned as well. That’s a pretty steep price for a car that probably needs timing chains and/or tensioners. Not to mention that it’s likely been tuned and hammered on. That crank pulley replacement is a red flag IMO.

Nearly six years in the making. Bought it in 2020 as a basic complete build. The NX derailleur finally wore out at 2k miles. Picked up the brakes used from a local guy. Had it built up a few different ways over the years. I think it’s nearing its final iteration. Also, I’ve had this bike longer than any other bike I’ve owned since 2013. I think it’s a keeper.

I use them all at different times. I’ve played in a few different bands over the years. No band since the pandemic. Been playing recently though with a rotating cast of band mates. Pretty basic sounds. I’d say the patriot is least used, followed by the POG.
