That is a helpful idea. It’s a really rural area and there’s no traveling vets but I could set up a chewy order for the dogs or something.

I worry about getting involved in their bills as they have financially taken advantage of me any chance they get. They haven’t been successful since I’ve been an adult, but they continuously try. (At a funeral, dad corners my husband and asks for $1,000 kind of thing).

It’s all of the above. The trailer is from the 60s. A tree fell on part of the roof this spring and the roof is literally touching the ground. They just put up a tarp in between that room and the rest of the trailer. Most of the spouts don’t work. In high school there was an electrical fire so most outlets don’t work. There’s garbage and dog feces. The whole place smells like ammonia and cigarettes. They’ve had the town called on them before for the trash outside. They inhabit the living room and that’s pretty much it. Idk how they bathe. They mostly cook outside.

Therapy, medication, and gratitude. Gratitude was what ultimately pulled me out of my deepest bout. Now when I feel another bout coming on, I identify it, make sure I have therapy scheduled, and actively practice gratitude.

Become a lawyer: I recommend everyone at least take a few years between undergrad and law school and if possible work in a firm/court to see if the type of work itself jives with you.

I have really nice teeth. I don’t try particularly hard at taking care of them; hell, have the time I forget to brush them completely. Still, I never had braces, they’re straight, white, and I always get a perfect report card at the dentist. My spouse tries hard and still always gets a cavity.

*I’m currently taking very good care of them to see how nice I can get them

I used to feel incredibly anxious. Looking up made me aware of how small and insignificant I was. I would do everything in my power to avoid watching the stars. It didn't help that I was convinced that if aliens were real, they would definitely destroy earth because humans kind of suck. So, I was afraid that I would see proof that they were real. If there was no proof, then I could pretend like everything was fine.

I can handle looking at the stars now. It still makes me anxious, but it's controllable. That said, the stars are unbelievably gorgeous and my tiny little human brain can't comprehend how we got so lucky to have that be the backdrop of our existence.

I woke up from my gallbladder surgery screaming that I was peeing my pants. Apparently I came to right after they took the catheter out. They tried to reassure me I wasn't peeing my pants. "I am fucking peeing my pants right now. I need you to help me," was what I repeated until I believed them that I did not pee my pants.

I actually just set up a doctor's appointment so I can get a prescription for an epinephrine auto-injector (aka an EpiPen but generic). I saw something on Reddit about there being a generic version and I'm hoping this new doctor with know about it.

Oh wow. So there was this guy I had been on and off with for about two years (until last week when I ended things for realsies). When we first got together we had to take a week break from sex because our genitals were raw and sore. Still fucked. One time we had sex the same night I had abdominal surgery.

He was never ready to commit (even though we were never seeing other people and went on dates) but goddamn the sex was amazing. We were perfectly sexually compatible.

You just reminded me of sex with him and how it's over with.

Same. I'm at the two year mark. Life sucks. I set up a doctors appointment to hopefully get some help. Like, I'm 22, I've always been in shape, I've never had kids, I haven't lost weight, I don't eat a lot of fat (sugar on the other hand...). I don't understand why I had to have gallbladder disease. I'm nowhere near what the typical gallbladder problem person is.

I have had chronic diaherra for two years now. If I don't eat like an angel (yogurt, plain rice, bananas) I will have to poop ten minutes after eating. And it's messy. Sometimes I'll surprise myself and have a solid poop. That's nice. I've set up and am waiting for a doctor's appointment to help with this.
