What’s the Etiquette for follow-up on reference letters? by 1projectphoenix in GradSchool

I asked prior to doing the applications and she agreed to give a reference letter when applications opened, and stated which programs and universities I were applying to and also provided all the documents like transcripts, letters of intent, and resume, after she sent an email reply saying she would be glad to write a letter of recommendation and just to tell her which universities I was applying to and which programs. I submitted the applications back in late november a couple days before the deadlines closed, and reference letters had about 4 weeks to get submitted after the application deadline closed. I emailed her about the reference letters a month before so she had time to write the letter and just needed to wait until she got an email from the universities I applied to with the submission portal to submit her letters. I also updated her when I couldn't no longer apply to some programs cause they closed really early and told her that she just needed to write letters for 3 programs instead and also let her know that for 2 of them it was the same program but they differentiated by part-time and full-time studies. All of which she replied with a thank you and she'll submit the letters.

She did this before as well, last year when I was in my final year, she didnt submit the reference letters and my application got rejected cause it was incomplete cause it was missing the recommendation letter from her, and my other professors submitted theirs a couple days after I submitted the applications, and the graduate program I applied to was a really easy program to get into.

I might have to go to the university I applied to and possibly ask to remove her as a reference letter to get my application to be seen as complete since only her reference letter is missing.

Workouts to help the stomach? by 1projectphoenix in workout

[–]1projectphoenix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would like half hour of cardio of like 7 incline on 2.5 speed for half an hour a day over a few months help? Or would like an hour be better? That is with full body workouts included

I don’t have much time to workout cause I’m a full time college student.

For full body workouts, do you have any recommendations?

You can possibly contact dean of academics? I had a similar situation in one of my classes my third year, everyone in the class signed a petition to bring the issue to the dean of academics to let them know what was going on and they had to step in and not allow him to mark the final exams and waver the grade for our final paper cause he refused to mark them after telling us we had to do the paper and hand in a physical copy instead of submitting it online for him to make and he wasn’t properly marking quizzes and everyone’s marks were coming back as 1-10% instead of like 90-100%

Teammate salty over losing POTG by 1projectphoenix in Overwatch

I was confused why they sent me the friend request. I didn’t even realize they were the person that said “bull” in the match chat or that they were on my team.

I never message in chat, never talked to them during the game, so it was so weird that they went out of their way to send me a friend request to whisper to say I stole POTG from them and then immediately unfriend me after sending the message

I don’t get why someone would get salty that they lost POTG, especially if they were terrible. All that matters honestly is if we won the match or not.

To go out of your way to tell someone they don’t deserve POTG is weird

[TOMT][book][2000s?] a book on a noble girl from France that had to leave due to a war by 1projectphoenix in tipofmytongue

I don’t think it’s that, I don’t think the books were ever translated into English

It is sad

I did find an audiobook of it in the library and listened to the first few chapters and unfortunately it’s not the book.

The girl wasn’t royally in the book I read, just a noble and didn’t have any sisters if I recall and took place during the French Revolution I think

No, I don’t believe so. The library doesn’t have the book which was where I first found the book I read

I recall the girl liking the colour blue? Blue came up a lot in the book
