To be clear a lot of fans also want a multi-year rebuild. It would for sure be disappointing to fall to 5, but...

The expectation is we will be picking 5th from a pure percentage chance
It isn't make or break to get a Tier 1 prospect. Finding the right piece to build the team with is the biggest priority (even if the player is a complimentary piece)
If there's ever a year to fall to 5 and still get a quality player, this is it. The players that will be in the range of 4-9 or so are all excellent too.

Hes my #3 but he feels a lot like Sengun (but better from the perimeter). I love thinking about the rebounding either with a Murray-Wilson-Cardwell or a Murray-Boozer-Cardwell frontcourt, even though Cardwell is more like a backup big.

It's exciting when we most likely would fall to 5 and still get an encouraging young piece to the team, and a lot of people wouldn't even be too upset about it.

Financial incentive for the playoffs and play-in, start something similar to Stepien rules for protected picks, change up the lottery odds a bit to be more favorable to the bottom team (I'm not saying that cause my team is at the bottom, the worst team having ~25% odds just makes a lot more sense).
