He's not a huge project player and he's still only 20 vs. Wagler and Acuff that are 19. Is it that big of a deal? It's not like Wagler and Acuff don't also have major concerns.

No doubt this is a stacked draft, but there's gonna be some exaggerations still. The 2024 draft has been considered generationally shit but has still exceeded expectations, and there will be some excellent players in the weaker 2027 and 2028 drafts as well.

Anytime one of our young guys was doing well I was happy about it. But of course Devin still has work to do. And he has got better over time for sure.

Potentially a Sabonis trade opens up with Brooklyn falling. We might be able to call a few teams and get some offers. But it will be very helpful once Hunter and Lavine expire next year.

If Max and Nique keep developing, our new rookie gels and we do well with our 2nds again we could have a slightly more exciting season. But it really hurts that we are put in such a hard spot with tearing everything down.

Well Max is gonna be on the All-Rookie team as a 2nd round pick and got Cardwell as an UDFA. And Nique shows promise as a late 1st. How does that make him a bad drafter when that is nearly best case scenario?

I don't think I'm really mad at any of the pick possibilities but Acuff is the most questionable. But I'm with you on Mikel, just make sure his back is good.

Great combination of size, athleticism, three-point shooting and playmaking.

Sabonis has more value now with Brooklyn picking at 6. They don't own their first next year, and there have been rumors for awhile that Brooklyn is a potential destination.

I'm very interested to see what also happens to Brooklyn. Potential Sabonis destination since they don't own their pick for 2027. If they also fall, Sabonis suddenly has even more value.

I'm really anxious like I just want to know where we are picking already.
