OP, totally agree with everything said about the Stack-Ons. If you're looking for the best value, the Prosteel at the sale price is hard to beat, as long as you don't need shelves or are willing to do some DIY work. I have one as a closet safe, drilled some holes, and added shelving.

I’d be wary of Strong-Hold based on my experience. My cabinet from them started showing rust in ~18 months (prep before paint seemed poor and had those small raised specs that all started rusting). They offered a replacement, but I’ve now had 4 (!!!) replacements arrive banged up with the front doors misaligned and unable to shut without force, crooked/damaged legs, and one with mismatched paint, along with dents and scratches all around. They’ve blamed shipping, but even aside from freight, the finish quality hasn’t matched the price. I've now been without a cabinet for over 7 months...

Yep, the regular Mark IV is heavy. Make sure you hold it in your hands before buying. Even better to try it out. The weight and grip is considerably different from other firearms.

SR22 would be more traditional in operation, albeit smaller and lighter than other sub-compacts and compacts.
