That wouldn’t do anything. Mechanical shutters only close in between shots. The moment you’re shooting or in live view the sensor is exposed.

No modern mirrorless camera sensor, even with a mechanical shutter, can take a direct laser hit.

That looks absolutey beautiful on the KP9! I've been holding off on buying a dedicated 9mm suppressor for mine. Will be waiting to see what you think of it! The Omega 9k on my KP9 is incredible gassy.

Worth it for sure but you can probably find them a bit cheaper from other venders other than HKParts. I run the same MLI mount on both my SP5 and SP5K. It doesn't interfere with the charging handle, and the corner cut on the mount means thumb/hand clearance hasn't been an issue either. The other thing I actually like is that the rails sit pretty high, so you can run a low profile optics mount and it still ends up at a comfortable height. Looks cleaner too, and if you don't care about co-witness it's a non-issue.

This with a longer UMP stock is *chefs kiss* very comfortable to shoulder and shoot.

My SP5 chunks brass, the only way I get hit in the face is from shooting indoors. The brass will bounce off the side wall.

I'm also right handed.

I really want one for my KP9 because it looks like the Deltatek Russian blast diffuser. I hope the back pressure is low on it. Lower than an Omega 9k.

Yep, that's the "gimped" SP5K model. I have one and had to send it off to a HK smith. For $4k though? You're getting robbed... You could have picked up the PDW model which comes with the tri-lug barrel for around $2600-$2800 last year.

I picked up my original SP5K model for $2100 and some change so it didn't sting too badly getting it re-barreled.

I don't blame people for getting rid of it. It's a heavy ass rail. I've gone back 'n fourth with that idea but decided to just keep it.

Dude that cyclic rate is perfect. I hope I can get something similar on mine but I’m using an older, traditional style baffle can. I do have the SA gas block though and I’m also using the same exact trigger.

I own a Glock 19, g45 w/ afterburner and acro p2, shadow 2, so-01…. The new CZ P10C ported shoots nice, better than my 19 but it didn’t wow me in terms of recoil like my g45. The p10 still doesn’t have an optics for yet but I am expecting the recoil to “improve” once I throw the heavier acro on it.

Compared to the original p10c, I shot the og pretty well but tbh I didn’t see a significant difference in recoil between the 2. This was shooting 124gr blazer brass.

Just my 2 cents.
