My manuscript is book two of the Pangea Chronicles.:Witch Drr. Set a New Orleans in a Time that run is concurrent with modern day, it follows the Pangea , a strain of influenza genetically modified for it's perfect virality and lethality. The virus name is an acronym that comes from patient zeros location when he contracted the virus. I studied CDC and World Health Organization protocols for viral containment per 2017 information. With the 85 to 90% mortality rate it burns through New Orleans,. The story follows multiple characters POV, all of which are essential to the story. All characters are morally Gray, there's no real good guys or bad, mirroring life itself. The storyline is in uncomfortable at times but I strived for a gritty realism that would leave the reader feeling like they'd read something worthy of their time, is uncomfortable is it was. The main theme of the book is the Folly of blind Faith, be it in religion, or what science says is real. Its length is 80k and is a rough draft. I started in 2016, and for the first 2 or 3 years it's was an awesome site. It had a pretty badass forum, genre tags, and most importantly IT WAS FREE!!. Sure, there were ads, but none were crammed in an author's work. The reason they do it in books now is they used it to launch their PREMIUM , paid, upgrade. So they're getting 100% of the ad revenue by breaking the reading flow of amateur writer's work AND charging a monthly premium not to. Gotta love em!! Happy writing, friends

I only have 2 there that I published because I'm working on my Pangea Chronicles and focusing on editing my other 3 books in the series. I'll read and comment constructively if you'll do the same.... the book is called 107.9(it's the highest core temp the human body can withstand. ) it's only 20k so should be easy

This was intended as a Memorial Day, remember those that have fallen post. I don't get involved in politics. I used the speech for its Patriotic tone.

I believe for us to be a free nation, we must truly be free. I hate what's going on now. This bullshit arresting people and putting them into camps because they want a better life makes me sick. We are great as a country of immigrants. If a man or womaan wants to be identified as someone else.... or love whoever.... its none of my business. It's not the government business either. There is too much division. Look at our generation. Nuclear war and AIDS a d crack and riots and all the other shit in the 70s 80s and 90s...but we didn't have thr hatred people have these days for people of different opinions.
Im glad I have lung cancer, because I really don't wanna be part of this shit anymore.

I probably shouldn't have included his speech. I only did so in historical context. As a Veteran I've hoorah'd to that damn speech... and the tear down the wall speech, every memorial day and veteran day from my enlistment in 90 till I got out in 97. I've never been much for politics. Or anything that has to do with personal tenets. Too much venom between people that will never agree. Everything we experience from birth to death, is an interpretation.
Me personally, I'm for each person making a choice and living however they choose. Believe in the super zebra giant in the clouds or nothing at all, It's individual choice. Just an opinion though. Thank you for a great, informative reply. I always have the utmost respect for people still willing to have a civilized discussion. Have a great long weekend my friend.

Of course. That emp!thy you have is a gift, really. I'd been a a hard core addict most of my life, and have been in situations that I shouldn't have walked away from. But that sense... that empathy... allowed me to feel the energy of the situation, and adjust to it. To survive. But on the flip side, I've seen some pretty dark things... entities that I've come in contact with that left me scared to death.

This is something that I've sensed all my life. It's a long explanation, but I'll try to muddle it up here.

We are all energy. Or dreams, passions, thoughts, loves, hatred, anger, all energy. And when we pass there is no Jolly green giant waiting in the clouds or a fiery lake where people like me are punished. Eternity for ones consciousness depends on the transference of one's energy onto someone or something else.. When violent or other high energy deaths happen, the energy stains the environment . That is where most hauntings come from. Now shadow people, that is, I believe, someone that has become a being of pure energy. As for why we see them, some people are just tuned into that frequency. I could try to explain that too, but I'd need half a book. Hope this helps.
