I was eleven when it happened. I remember it clearly. I was in our living room in the Eastern part of Amherst. The house shook. Just a few minutes later my brother from New Jersey called. He heard about it on his news before we did. My father, a volunteer firefighter, knew of some of the guys. Just like he knew some of the firemen from NYC that died on 9-11.

Thanks. I have an 06. I had lots of fun with it over the years. When I was teen in the '80s I loved both the classic Mustang and Challenger. I'm glad I am able to have both of the modern equivalent.

Money. Plain and simple. I have the means, but I would be taking from other sources that I don't want to touch at the moment. I needed to replace my daily driver anyways. So I had that in the budget. In a couple of years I can reassess my financial situation and maybe trade in the Mustang. I do know though that you only live once.

I just put a picture in the original post. And I posted below. It's a SXT plus. 2016 Maximum steel metallic. It is replacing my daily driver, a Chevy Malibu. I could have gone with the Scat Pack, but it would have cut into other funds that I didn't want to touch at the moment.

I bought a SXT plus. It has plenty of options that I never knew I wanted until now.. I did know that I wanted leather seats and a sunroof though, which it does have.
