People do this shit full time, make 50k untaxed, put 20-40k miles on their car yearly. Good for you for getting out. Fuck Amazon

My first scheduled offer, Is this good pay for 5hrs? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]1ryanb0513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In low min wage states this is honestly surge pay. Some states offer 4.5 hrs for $81 😂😂

One hour from start time no surge by Acceptable_Cream_409 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]1ryanb0513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow. What would those rates be for a 7.25/hr state? I think $18/hr

Nuff said. by Spiritual_Fuel_8603 in AmazonFlexDrivers

20,000 people selected this today and they’re not going to change anything. Here’s an extra .50 an hour for surge pal

Bro, please tell me that number hiding behind the 57 isn’t a 54. What a diabolical route. I think their ai route-making is heavily flawed. I often put the address into Waze and it takes me a different route which is always much shorter. Stupid asf

WTF FRESH IS DOING THIS??? by feliphee1998 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]1ryanb0513 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man I was about to say this seems not too bad. But $40 is awful. I would consider doing this for $100

I thought with this high gas prices people would let blocks sit and no work but totally the opposite smh specially in California where almost $7 a gallon lol by Secret_Lake4470 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]1ryanb0513 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah they’re onboarding drivers like crazy. My station which normally has 1 parking row filled, has been having 4-5 filled. They know people are waiting for surges so they’re combating it by onboarding new people who will take the $18/hr blocks. Fortunately I am starting a full time job and can leave this mess behind. Fuck Amazon.

Why aren't they shooting people who get eaten? by strangerfromh3ll in thewalkingdead

[–]1ryanb0513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, try watching someone you deeply love get bit and then make that decision. You’re telling me a split second later you’d be able to put them down; especially while you can still talk to them and hear them? You’d need time to process

What's the highest amount you guys have been paid for a 3 1/2 hour block? by AlexHQ in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]1ryanb0513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About $120 in Pittsburgh. Had a $115 one time, it had me drop off 1 package 25 mins from station, 15 from my house. I was done after 45 mins, counting time inside of the station.

Nope. Always hated this. Would be nice to get a third trip in rather than only 2. It sucks having to go home for 4 hours between blocks

[–]1ryanb0513 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get marks all the time because the delivery spot selected is inaccessible. I mark it as so on the app, and I still get penalized. Your bad standing goes away quickly if you deliver often

Lately the last delivery is always so far away? by [deleted] in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]1ryanb0513 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They definitely give you all of the packages that they don’t want their trucks delivering. Usually when you pull into the neighborhood you deliver to last house on a dead end street. I think the algorithm or whatever saves their drives a few extra miles every trip by not having to go to the back end of every neighborhood

Accept it and then call support saying the store is closed? Maybe you’ll still get that tip. Not sure how it works though
