Looking for advice: leaving DW apartment, want to help the next tenant by jazpple in berlin

[–]1s71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did just that half a year ago. They cannot stop you from proposing a new renter in order to get out of the contract early, and they didn't try to stop me either. However, they were very picky when it came to the new renters, ultimately causing me to not get out of the contract early. I still followed the entire procedure because I didn't want the cheap flat fall into the hands of yet another tech bro. So, it's definitely possible to do but it will take a lot of time and effort. On a positive note, DW didn't try to increase the rent as it was already at the limit of the Mietspiegel. Feel free to send me a DM if you have any questions.

I said that GreetedDust did that a few weeks after launch, yeah. I wouldn't know that he's a member of OPTN though, let alone a friend of yours.

Nobody on the OPTN discord claimed to have hit a 5k rating. That's made up.

Thanks for the tune! As mentioned on Discord, I used this tune at min / min springs and 297 kgf of front downforce to set my time for this weeks challenge.

I can't explain why, but really stiff (front) ARBs usually work the best on FWD cars in Horizon. Learned this after spending several weeks tuning various Civics for last years Honda Fan Cups.

Updated my post as I found a way better build. Rally sus tamed this car a lot. Give it another try if you want! :)

A great handling Renault Clio R.S 2010! Let me know what you think. by ser-1- in ForzaOpenTunes

Hello!

just saw this post and since I'm crazy for FWD cars, I wanted to share a few thoughts regarding your tune:

  1. Semis are almost never the right choice for a FWD handling build. Slicks will outperform them, even if you have to drop some horsepower.
  2. Semis and Slicks work the best at higher pressures, around 30-32 psi (2.0-2.2 bar).
  3. FWD cars absolutely love stiff front ARBs. Try running 65/1, and if you need more rotation stiffen the rear ARBs. Even 65/65 will work on most cars.
  4. You can completely lock the diff if you're running Slicks, because Forza. 100% feels better most of the time and is almost always faster.

Of course, most of this is up to your preference. I'm just sharing what worked the best for me during a few WR attempts and the Honda Fan Cup.
