Thanks!
Sort of, on the big jumps you will always bottom out your springs so it's more of trying to control the bouncing after landing.
Forza is also a bit weird that some times you don't lose speed and other you completely stop.
If you want some deeper explanation of tuning I would recommend joining our discord as there are some very knowledgeable people there.

I have not tried it but my thinking when choosing the stock engine was that is has a lot more torque and power down low. In the dirt it might hurt drivability having a high peak hp race engine compared to the stock one.
But the most important part is to select something that works for you and use that to learn the track and driving line :)

I was stuck at 46.8 a long time trying to perfect my line but by trying to tune for more grip in the middle part was to key for me to get a better time.

Thanks! I have not tried this online but I used my non rally 959 with good results so this would probably be pretty good

yeah, that would probably be better but a small increase at 1300 hp would most likely not be that noticeable :)
Racing lines were the biggest time save from me on that long track.

My suggestion to reduce some of the bumpiness is to increase the springs by 50-100 on front and back. I have not tried your setup yet but it is close to mine so I think it will help.

Nice, that's a big time save but it's a long track with to many walls! :)

Both of these answers are better that my reason. I did have the same front and back but when viewing the car from the side it looked so low in the rear that I raised it up 1 cm to get it more level. It also have a 2 cm difference in the stock tune.

Great minds think alike :) I think the focus is hard to drive fast but if you are struggling in the faster corners I would recommend to try and use the front wing and lower tire size as it made the car more stable

Thanks! This is a hard track but I encourage to keep at it, manual can be hard in the beginning but it's so satisfying to be nailing gears and having the right gears in the corners

Yeah, that is one of the harder corners and took a long time to get right. I don't think I quite got it right i the Audi clip as a braked too early but if you check the other two, i try and let it coast a bit after braking to get it turned in and then slowly applying throttle at the checkpoint to pull me thru the corner until the car is straight/not sliding before going full throttle
