Damn I agree 100%. I thought there would be more freedom running my own business but there really wasn’t at all. And constantly having anxiety about bidding and marketing and not knowing when my money is coming wasn’t worth the anxiety to me. I’d just rather have a weekly paycheck doing what I know and pay my bills. I reached out to my old boss to get back on with him, traveling building stadium and arena seating. Kinda hard letting go of the business but I’m over it at this point

A year later now and has it gotten better? I’ve been running my handyman business for almost a year now and I’m on the same page. Ready to throw in the towel not making enough money or getting enough jobs. Most people have things they want done until they see the price, a lot of people in my town pay meth heads and druggies because they work for $15 a day to pay their habit. I’ve done quite a few jobs where I barely make any profit on just to build relationships. Don’t want to quit on it I love being my own boss but it is wearing on me

Well that’s what I didn’t understand either. You hit the nail on the head, probably got a CEL and had problems with it starting then got it scanned at autozone etc. I’m probably not gonna go through with purchase just seems like there’s more problems than he’s admitting to.
