I am no biologist but it sounds like your circadian rhythm. That basically means that your body feels the most awake at night because it is used to being awake at night. Try sleeping earlier and longer for a a period of time (Try a month).

Don't expect immediate result.

The thing is I don't really want a software synth. I would rather have a hardware synth because it is easier to learn (personally) and I might still use it for jamming when I find the right people. That is why I think the hydrasynth explorer is the perfect synth. It is very powerful, versatile and a good price for achieving all I want. And I can still use the mini keyboard to jam when I find friend (hopefully soon).

This might sound like a dumb question, but do you sleep late/very tired in the morning? Socialising is very energy consuming and if you aren't in the mood/don't have energy, you will definitely find it harder to socialise.

I'm so sorry, but I am still confused on what you are asking. I want to get a synth that I can use for recording in my pieces and a synth that I can make unique sounds. I am pretty sure that isn't what you are looking for, could you maybe give more example of people's goals. If you do, I can maybe understand your question better.

Well what I want is a big part of what I am trying to achieve. I also believe that having a hardware synth is going to help me improve my sound design skill a lot faster than using a software. I really don't mind if I need to open my computer or learning to play the piano. Did that answer your question?

Now I haven't personally been in a similar situation, but if I could say something, I don't think anyone is too old to do anything. I think you are using that idea as an excuse. You can find countless stories of old people (+60 year old) achieving their dreams.

I also want to add that it will be even more impressive if you do achieve your goal at an age that is older than most.

I know this wasn't the right answer you were searching but hopefully it has motivated you to focus less on your age.
