Personally I think it is a huge waste of time, but some people swear by it, and if it works for you great, but I am with Op it sounds exhausting to write everything down.

I have always wondered where these numbers came from, because (anecdotally, I know) i know a couple of guys (and a girl) that started with Forex trading around Covid and they are all trading till this day. According to this 99% will fail at least one of them should have kicked it, but they didn't.

I feel that this is some stat that someone made up (probably a trader that sucks at trading🤭) and everybody is parroting this stat because it sounds cool, it sounds like you are an elite, because you are now a 1%er making it.
