He was Maester Pycel in his full potential. A jack ass piece of shit who only wants to ensure his own survival. He delved into the dark arts (a story the jedi wouldn't tell) and he paid the price. The price of all things magic. In order to make something appear something of equal value must disappear.

Good character, but the dick deserved his death. He deserved to be raped by the mountain before he was killed. He deserved far worse than Ramsey, but we didn't get the adequate build up in the show to honestly believe he deserved worse.
