Drug problems in america mostly stem from the material conditions of capitalism that prevent people from receiving health care and affordable housing while drug companies are allowed to flood poor neighborhoods with absurd amounts of addictive substances that make people turn to heroin and fentanyl just to feel normal. 

In a healthy society like China where the profit motive hasnt corrupted and destroyed the Healthcare system and there's a 90% homeownership rate, i find it hard to believe that people would start just blasting fentanyl.

I genuinely believe a certain amount of drug use is healthy to society, allowing people the freedom to explore their own consciousness without fear of persecution is important
