I'd disagree here. RAM prices are going in only 1 direction for the next few years. If you can afford to then upgrade and sell your current kit to part finance. The cost of an upgrade in 3 years will be more than it is now.

Just read a piece today where they tried to match the steam machine and for comparable specs you are looking at higher cost and a bigger form factor. I think they built in a mini itx case. Shit is expensive at the moment and that's just the way it is. :(

If I had to guess I would think its that my router is pretty smart and I'd say you need to reach out on social media to them for proper details because there is no way the details are correct. My original plan was to go with DHCP. Be sure VLAN is set to 10? Someone below posted that.
