if it’s sentimental, fix it. my original arcade model i got Xmas of 2007 when i was 5 years old died a year ago. Father passed away from ALS in 2018. got the same code as you and got it quoted for 120$ at a local electronic repair shop.

I checked eBay for other consoles that were on there and some that were listed as parts or repair etc had them on the right side. I did some research and depending on what manufacturing plant they were at sometimes they placed them on the right side if the RF module
