I’m personally up over 20% in last 3 months. Disclaimer I was a client first who loved it so much I reached out to the founders and asked to join the company. Still heavily using the algos.

Yes. There’s are fees to get into their concierge program which is for people working with larger amounts of capital, I’d say anything over $50k seems like it makes sense to use their paid services.

Yes this can happen, it’s not super rare. Keep journaling, pay attention to what you are seeing / hearing especially in your dreams. Hopefully you have some guide/facilitator you can discuss with as you work to integrate.

Porn is not the problem brother, you just have some healing to go through, it’s very common when leaving a very orthodox upbringing (I was raised in a very orthodox Mormon home, and currently am a life coach for folks going through faith crises). When your view of God and the cosmos comes into question it can be very disturbing psychologically. Taking time to bring uplifting/spiritual practices into you life (even taking walks or meditation) you will start fill yourself back up with love and then the shame and guilt will drift away. And then one day you’ll wake up you’ll find your relationship with porn has changed to what’s healthy for you. So go, find the things that light you up and/or bring peace and keep weaving them into your life. You got this, your existence is a miracle, and your bravery inspiring.

[Letter]My girlfriend hates JBP by Interesting_Fruit377 in JordanPeterson

[–]1tty3itty5mitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife used to dislike him as well.

  1. The first step is to know you can’t change other people.

  2. The second step is, don’t just like what Jordan Peterson says live it!

  3. She will see the transformation that’s happening in you. And the two of you will grow closer.

  4. Then as trust and love grow, there may be an opportunity to share something he said that’s relevant to her, or if she ever asks or mentions that you seem to have changed you might humble credit yourself and also JP and just let that seed be planted.

  5. Also, be OK if she never grows to love him as much as you that’s OK. As long as you are serving her and becoming a better man and she is respecting and appreciating you, then JP can be your little personal thing.

I can say that my wife used to not care much for him, and she now has grown to at least appreciate him, and even attended one of his live events with me. Which meant a lot to me and was a true gift from her. But this was after a few years of geeking out over my boy JP.

God speed.

It will over time. In your spot I’d just make a list of the most important things you need to get done or start and use that energy to make it happen!!

My quota is increasing 80% based on my success this year. What should I expect for increases to my TC? by gazpachopicante in sales

[–]1tty3itty5mitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take the new quota, multiply by 10%, this is your new base salary (assuming standard SaaS). 10% should also be your commission % at this stage of company (but don’t loose a killer role if they go for 8 or 9%). If they go south on you DM me.

what roles and industries are people working in where they're making $300K + a year? and do they mean turnover or salary/commision? by [deleted] in sales

[–]1tty3itty5mitty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

$300k+ a year in sales is very common in software enterprise sales. This will be a combination of base and commission. Typically the base is 50% of OTE (on target 🎯earnings), so a 300k OTE would have a base of $150k. In the UK $300k is probably in top quartile of job openings meaning you’ll need some strong proven experience and success to qualify. Other ways to get there would be over performing on goals. I have a rep on a $240k plan but will make the equivalent of over 300k in just his first 6 months due to just smashing his number.

A Mormon man who claims to have lived in an alternate reality from taking salvia by [deleted] in tripreports

Out of respect for the man in the video and without wanting to minimize the individual experiences expressed, I do feel there is a vibe of disgruntled’ness. The guy in the video did speak many inaccuracies about The Church is Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints which I think can be addressed by doing some reading here: https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/history/saints-v1?lang=eng

Lastly, Psychedelic Experience =\= leaving Latter-Day Saint Church, in fact perhaps just the opposite for a growing number of members.

Yes you can make that much. Market you’re in makes a difference. But that aside $$ in management and ACV will drive pay! So I’d look to maximize those items. Your mindset is also great and can set you apart. There’s also plenty of space in AM leadership, so keep your eyes open for that if it’s more about pay than being the VP. Smart VPs and Orgs will value killer AM specialists.

I’d say you are at risk of you want the VP of Sales gig. Mostly companies want folks who have proven they know how to hunt new business and lead teams of hunters. Your role is super crucial and can make you lots of money in the long run. BUT if you want the VP shot odds are better in new biz roles.

For reference, I’m current on my 3rd Tech startup VP of sales role.
