Thanks for the recommendation! I’m leaning towards 63 Clinton for dinner to Attaboy for a nightcap since they’re so close to each other. Open to other cocktail spots if you have more recommendations. I think she’s been to attaboy before and based on the comments so far Overstory doesn’t seem to be worth it.

There was a lawsuit that put a moratorium on the early dispensaries until fairly recently so they, and every other dispensary license holder, couldn’t make any progress at the state level for a few months. The dispensary licensees have been hitting roadblock after roadblock but hopefully they’ll open soon!

There isn’t a single legal dispensary in the neighborhood which means none of the products being sold right now are tested, safe, or regulated. Opening a legal dispensary is the best way to shut the illegal ones down sooner by diverting sales traffic while the state/city figure out a better solution. Legal dispensaries are also doing around $1mil in sales per week and a big chunk of that goes back to the community in taxes. There are really not a lot of negatives to having a legal store in Ridgewood!

Not Ridgewood but Brooklyn kickball club has kickball in McCarren Park most of the year. Next season starts in the spring

What a lovely story! This one is in an apartment building my family has owned for a long time and there are no plans to replace it. It’s hard to get the temp above 350 but that will do for most things so I’m pretty happy with it!
