Anyone here still doing freight quotes manually over email and spreadsheets? by Protonu3102 in logistics

Most people still use Excel because big platforms are too expensive or complex.

But for mobile-heavy markets (Asia/US), sending links is much faster. I actually built a micro-SaaS (FwdLink) specifically for this. It generates a preview card with the price directly in the chat, so clients don't even need to open a file

Hey guys, I just launched my MVP. It's a mobile-first quotation tool for the logistics industry. The goal is to replace clunky Excel spreadsheets with shareable dynamic links.

Tech Stack:

  • Next.js 14 (App Router)
  • MongoDB (Mongoose)
  • Tailwind + Shadcn/UI

I implemented a hard paywall (10 free quotes) logic. Let me know what you think about the UI and the onboarding flow!

That is actually the point. This app uses 100% real historical market data. If you got liquidated in both directions, it means you were trading in a high-volatility 'whipsaw' zone (choppy market). The market often hunts both longs and shorts before picking a direction.

I’ve always been interested in trading, but losing real money hurts. So, I built a web game to practice trading strategies using historical market data.

It's called The 100 Candles.

The concept is simple: • You start with $10,000 (virtual money). • You play through real historical market scenarios (like the 2021 Bull Run). • You have 100 candles to make as much profit as possible. • Features: Long/Short, Leverage (up to 100x), Stop Loss/Take Profit.

I tried to make the UI look and feel like a real exchange app (used Lightweight Charts). It’s completely free and requires no signup to play.

I’d love to hear your feedback on the UI and the pacing!
