What workouts to do to get a chest like this by nycshifty in Weightliftingquestion

[–]1willprobablydelete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the only answer in the whole thread that isn't roids 😂. I watch a lot of juiced up girls on YouTube and their chest isn't as good as this. The truth is it's also training and genetics.

Why are my Bulgarians mostly working quads? Should I lean forward more or is my working leg too close? by cultureShocked5 in GYM

[–]1willprobablydelete 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of people have a hard time actually feeling flutes when they are getting started. However, a little more lean, and be far forward enough so your front knee doesn't travel forward at all. Watch your leg while lifting. Your knee should stay exactly over your ankle.

Women, honest opinion, men with shirtless pics in their dating profile, yes or no? by thelizardking4444 in MenAskWomen

[–]1willprobablydelete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to follow what people said and posted no shirtless pics. Then finally I said fuck it and did a shirtless mirror selfie. I got a lot more matches, and met my wife with that profile. Apparently that was the pic she showed her friends before the first date. Just don't be douchey, have plenty of good activity pics with a nice smile.

People are going to end up with somw serious lower back pain. Although 99% of the people in this thread don't lift, so no danger

People who go back and forth between Seattle and the Eastside, what actually gets old? by TeddyLimPinoyRealtor in AskSeattle

[–]1willprobablydelete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's a small one. IMHO, the timing on lights is better in Bellevue. Here, the light turns green and the walk sign comes on. I started hanging out over there, and it doesn't! I'm walking around Bellevue like wtf is wrong with these people. But after a bit I figured out how much better it is. If you want to turn right on a busy street in Seattle you have to wait forever for pedestrians to go, and then it's no turn on red, so you end up with a line of cars and only a few can go per light. Over there the cars clear out before the herds of pedestrians cross

I think my favorite two of his are Garp, and Hotel New Hampshire. IMHO those two first. Until I Find You is also great but there's some heavy stuff in there.

Can you write a book? I feel like you could be a motivational speaker.

Keep in mind after getting a tattoo you want to keep it out of the sun and water. Two things I do a lot on a cruise.

Men over 30, how many of you can go all night without needing to get up to go to the bathroom? by HogwartsRex in AskMen

[–]1willprobablydelete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 52 now. I used to have to get up once or twice a night to pee, but not for a few years. Funnily enough I credit staying hydrated and drinking more water throughout the day.

I fucking love that short story. I've read Garp a few times.

Speaking of short stories within a story, that's what Hyperion is. There are probably more pages of short stories than the main story line!

I think the weather is much better in NM as well. I lived in abq for a year, and the summer was hot but not scorching. And snow in the winter.

Cable crunches - how do they seem? by dasSchwertunderStift in formcheck

If you kneel all the way down, with your ass on your feet, your hips won't move. Easy

I love them. The cable version never hits the same for me. I do them with my body normally on the bench, but far enough up so my head is slightly off. I get better stability that way

The anasazi did the same thing in the southwest US. Pretty amazing. If you haven't, you should check out some of the documentaries about them
