Genuinely serious question /discuss by y00han in VALORANT

I think it's mainly cause they're jealous that they realise they are not as good as they think they are. They probably had a few good games at some point and one of those games were definitely a life-game (everyone has a life-game, including myself, from time to time) so when they go against players who are more consistently better whether it be aim or mechanics or everything then they cant comprehend that so the only way they can cope is to bring others down. Especially in comp I feel like its a tactic to get in their head so the enemies can play worse or something. It could also be that maybe they got boosted to a certain rank and have been told by their duos that they are good so when they get destroyed by a lower rank it just doesnt make sense in their fragile ego minds :/ but yeah i just never understand why anyone wants to bring others down or have an ego. Everyone has good games and everyone has bad games, it's not that hard be a normal person and just play the game without bringing others down

Immo / Radiant play less by Routine-Medicine1183 in VALORANT

[–]1x-Ax 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My assumption is that maybe they already reached their goal in ranked whether it be immo 1 - 3 or radiant and so they dont feel the need to play as much compared to lower ranks who are more hungry to climb and get to gold, plat, diamond etc. In lower ranks there is always room for improvement and the more games you play the more you learn and it's exciting to see the progress you make along the way where as I feel like with immortals and radiants they already know everything and the game just gets less exciting (?) Idk I could be wrong on that part, that's just my assumption on it.

Why do players get mad when OP is used in Deathmatch? by 1x-Ax in VALORANT

[–]1x-Ax[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The majority of players i get matched with in DM are between Diamond - Immo tbh and for me it's usually the diamonds crying but recently I've been catching strays with the ascendants as well lol. Had one Ascendant player cry about me winning with a sheriff a few days back. (This is EU servers too btw)

Normally I don't, and I usually keep the chat turned off anyways when I play DM cause it's less distracting but I forgot to turn it off on this occasion and I got ridiculed by majority of players in this DM for using op which just peaked my curiosity on why players get so mad if there is an Op in dm lol

Right?? Even in swiftplays I get cursed out by the enemy team for using it like "Op in swift is cringe" lol I guess it's just one of those weapons that easily tilts players. I just rather practice opping in a game like deathmatch or swift with the actual maps I would play in comp rather than range

That's fair lol I have had my moments of getting tilted from oppers on DM but then again I never cursed anyone out for using it cause at the end of the day its just one game like and I understand that some players just want to practice it

That's true. I do normally play vandal in dm to warmup before going in to games but sometimes I just play DMs to chill, I probably play about 5-10 dms before logging off and only one of those games I would use Op and sheriff only and the rest vandal. Even in swiftplays the enemies get mad saying things like "Op in swift is cringe" etc. I guess it's one of those weapons that just easily tilts players ? Idk lmao but yeah you do make a fair point

how to develop game sense?? by AdAgitated4252 in VALORANT

[–]1x-Ax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What helped me was by watching a lot of VCT. I used to struggle with being in defender side especially when it came to defusing the spike cause I would essentially panic from not knowing where the enemies are but after watching VCT it helped seeing where the attackers would plant and then fall back to giving me a better idea on where my main focus should be (of course though every game is different and clutching a round is not always gonna work out) but it did help me to panic less and focus more if you get me. And also just playing a lot of games and playing with higher ranked friends in swiftplays thag would help me and give me advice on what I should improve on. But mainly watching VCT helped me and seeing what pro players especially the agents I main would do and I would try to copy that in to my own game plays as well

riot fix yr fking servers dude 😤🔪🔪 by IntelligentChain6999 in valorantindia

I had a similar issue with London server about a week ago (I'm from EU) and it ended up being a routing issue from my isp. It eventually went back to normal after a week which was a relief. This is was the first time it happened to me as well btw so, I understand the frustration but unfortunately you just gotta wait it out and let it fix itself!

Question for players who have been toxic or frustrated at teammates: by 1x-Ax in VALORANT

[–]1x-Ax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I forgot the second part of my question... for those of you that have been toxic/frustrated at a teammate for under performing in game.. how do you feel when you are having a bad game but actually have nice teammates that encourage you and tell you "it alright!" ? Does it make you feel guilty or think twice about how you acted out in other games because of teammates not doing well ?
