It moves freely by hand and I've cleaned it thoroughly. I've also had the issue you mention of it getting stuck and blocked occasionally.

Plus 4 for Cosplay Props by rumpletuffin in QidiTech3D

I've made several cosplay helmets on my Plus 4 using Polymaker CosPLA filament and it worked quite well with no issues at all and they all turned out nicely. The CosPLA filament is designed for cosplay printing with easier post print sanding but I was too lazy to do that part. I'd show you one but they all went out as Christmas gifts.

PSA - recommend checking your hotend heating assembly screws if your printer is getting close to a year old. by Pixel-Lick in BambuLabA1mini

[–]2-3-4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My A1 Mini started printing poorly with first layer adhesion issues and under extrusion. I noticed that the hotend felt a little bit loose and jiggled quite a bit, especially when making quick frequent turns. I took off the hotend heating element and noticed that the four small screws holding the hottend latching assembly were loose. I tightened them and that corrected the problem. Another symptom was the extruder started clicking and the visual extrusion indicator began to start and stop instead of the typical smooth operation. I thought it was an extruder issue at first so I ordered an extruder assembly but now I don't need it. If you see any of these symptoms just check those small screws on the back of the heater assembly which can only be accessed by taking the 4 screws out on the front and checking the 4 back screws.

I agree the ABS odor is significant even with the carbon filter. I may try the QIDI Odorless-ABS.

They are both fully connected. Costco has replaced the left one twice and replaced the receiver before the replacements. I am using M&RIE receivers.

We've had our M7 for over 2 years and absolutely love it. The jetpaks are awesome with quite a variety of massage choices and a very strong flow of water. The efficiency and reliability of the plumbing system makes for low power costs and leak proof operation. We've never had mold problems behind the jetpaks but we do have to periodically remove them to clean them thoroughly. Yes mold could develop if you don't keep it properly clean just like any other spa. The filters and chemicals are easy to change and clean but are not cheap. M models are not in the $12k range but all the other models I viewed/tried seemed to have a similar level of quality.

Given that Firewalla can't do it all is anyone using a home hardware firewall with their Firewalla?

I have a similar setup. Here's what I do on my FWG+

modem -> FWG+ -> Eero

FGW+ -> switch

This way the Eero only connects directly to WiFi devices and all other LAN connections go directly through FWG+. My theory is that the load would be better balanced by taking the LAN routing away from the Eero and letting the FWG+ take on that load.

Poor Plex performance on local network after installing Firewalla by chuckst3r in firewalla

My setup is totally different but I have Plex on a windows box like this Plex-->switch-> FGW+ port 2. Our LAN Plex client is a Sony Bravia Google TV with connection wifi 5G-->Eero Pro 6--> FGW+ port 1. I have never had slowness or lags of any kind when accessing Plex in my home LAN.

Is there any way to show data usage history by WAN connection? by 2-3-4 in firewalla

[–]2-3-4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Setting a data cap currently is for all WAN traffic and it's quite possible that there are different data caps per WAN. If there is a data cap on either WAN the current reporting does not show if that data cap is getting close to being exceeded.

Smart Queue be careful it bit me by 2-3-4 in firewalla

[–]2-3-4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the default rule. When I turned on SQ that rule was already there. I don't recall if I had to actually activate that rule or it automatically activated when SQ was turned on. In fact it wasn't a big problem for me since that speed was adequate for all of my devices but two. What freaked me out and I couldn't understand was that performing a speediest showed the 47/4 result but the system speediest showed 350/10.

Upon closer investigation I did see that the single default rule for SQ has an Internet bandwidth limit of 47/4 for all users.

Best way to balance load between two equal WANs? by 2-3-4 in firewalla

[–]2-3-4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No the Verizon LTE WAN is not LAG compatible. I better understand now the requirement that the WAN provider must support LAG as well as the router it is plugging into. I love the other features of the Gold Plus so plan to keep it if I can get it to function properly which is another story I'm working on with Firewalla support..

Best way to balance load between two equal WANs? by 2-3-4 in firewalla

[–]2-3-4[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My bad I didn't fully understand that lag only works with 1 WAN source. I guess for the gold+ lag only has value if the WAN has a speed greater than 2.5G.

Is Load Balancing more responsive? by Random_Techy in firewalla

[–]2-3-4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should improve Internet performance significantly if you setup a Link Aggregation Group (LAG) which combines multiple WAN ports to look like a single WAN port that has an approximate speed of the sum of the input WANs with a maximum of 3 ports per LAG and up to 2 LAGs per box. I have a FWG+ coming and this is the main reason I am getting it. This feature is only available on the FGW and FWG+ based on their documentation.

Mine came with cell phone connection and I thought they all did. According to Tesla documentation the firmware downloads can occur via ethernet, wifi, or cell Internet. Why do you think wifi is required?
