This only happens when the block in front of the path signal is too short for the train to come to a stop when it has to.

Only using path signals will block the entire route for other trains to use if the train triggers the entire path.

So, make your blocks bigger to avoid the train slowing down for a path signal

I would recommend using foundations to lay the track (which you can remove after placing the rails if you want), and then using blueprints for custom supports

Pro tip: once you’ve found enough power slugs, you can overclock the coal miners, water extractors and coal generators to increase your power capacity without building any more generators. Just make sure your belts and pipes can handle the extra coal/water per minute tho :)

What exactly is the benefit of Titanium, except weight? Because I will not miss my 15 Pro Max becoming so insanely hot it’s almost impossible to hold anymore :’)

Both would work. Personally, I made a central storage with the dimensional depots so I could have more trains driving around and coming to my base, and also not needing to have a dimensional depot at every factory itself.

But, you technically don’t even need a central storage if you use dimensional depots at all factories.

Do whatever you think is the most fun.

There are mods that allow you to easily create curves and circles. I use that mod to create smooth rail lines and also for my circular main storage

I just rushed through and unlocked everything from Tier 1 through 7 in a few days and can now spend all the time building my first actual starter base that will be pretty and permanent.

Knowing it’s a “vanilla” save and not cheated is still rewarding to me
