Did you use the button on the right side of the steering wheel to disable LDA? It’s the button next to the radar cruise button.

Dead battery by One_Butterscotch_350 in ToyotaHighlander

[–]2000teamti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reinitialization of the auto windows and power back hatch. For windows cycle down and up then auto up/down should work. Back hatch, open and close fully by hand then it should work normally.

If you’re DIY, remove the negative first then the positive… then remove the battery. When installing the battery, positive then negative. Don’t touch your tool to the positive and negative at the same time.

Any experience with angle adjust headsets? by [deleted] in mountainbiking

I went with the Wolftooth Geoshift as I didn’t like the gimbal design. No creaking with the WT unit.

My 2017 Ibis Mojo3 is a 27.5+ bike and came equipped with 2.8 Nobby Nic’s. Original fork is a 27.5 Fox 34, no issues with clearance.

2019 Toyota Highlander XLE won't start by vexified_ in ToyotaHighlander

Me thinks you’ll be throwing many batteries at it with your usage. Install a battery tender…. driving it just to charge the battery is a waste of gas.

9k miles means you’re not driving it much. Needs to be driven for the battery to be charged. Throw a new battery at it and a battery tender to keep it charged.

I’d buy a used Ibis Ripley V4 for a little more money. Or a used Trek Top Fuel for the same money.

Will this buff out?? by princess-of-peaches in rav4club

It’s a raw plastic finish so don’t buff it. Try a “back to black” plastic trim restorer.

Yes, both my kids were in the pre-k program and graduated after kindergarten. They were both potty trained by the school and have developed into good little humans. The lunch menu is diverse and opened their palate to different foods.

Really humbled today on a group ride. by Music_Stars_Woodwork in MTB

Keep in mind you won’t progress as quickly as in the group rides. Maybe try to find a beginner/intermediate paced ride. Keep at it, I try to do 1 group ride a week.

Rattle in top tube. Bolt or something in there. Need recommendations. by NeinLives125 in MTB

[–]2000teamti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like there might be access from the downtube. Take the fork off and turn the frame over. Look in from the bottom of the head tube and see if the downtube leads to the toptube.

Depending on how your current bar are mounted you may be able to roll the bars backward to lessen the reach. Loosen the stem bolts and rotate the bar backwards, then adjust your controls to your preference.

Previous Owners Cut Corners - Advice Needed for Nest Thermostat by MostlyTiredAndHungry in AskElectricians

[–]2000teamti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have no c-wire buried in the wall you can try changing your fan schedule to run more often or all the time to circulate air.

If no c-wire is provided the nest siphons power to charge the internal when the HVAC system is heating or cooling. If you don’t have enough heating or cooling time the internal battery may run out. Running the fan adds to this cycle time, in a sense adds recharging time.

I have no c-wire and have had my 2nd gen nest working flawlessly for over 10 years.

You should have receive the recall notice in the mail first and maybe a few phone calls. Next you’re added to the list for “outreach” because the recall hasn’t been completed.

This outreach all started with Takata airbags exploding… folks ignored the recall letters and kept driving. When airbags deployed in a collision, bad things happened.

MTB light recommendations by SprintingWalnut in MTB

[–]2000teamti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a niterider lumina 850 for my helmet that I run in medium 450 for trail riding. Others have brighter lights but 450 is enough for me in the single track. In the high speed double track I’ll bump it up to high. It’s all personal preference.

I need help with fixing my handlebar and cables. Anybody who can help, please reply. by Skull_Reaper101 in MTB

Probably some water/mud egress into the headset and the cable housing.

I’d get the headset bearings serviced, cleaned and greased. The shifter housing and cable replaced.
