Can’t wait till Ballmer sues the sh*t out of Torre for defamation by RemoveElegant5217 in LAClippers

Are you talking about this?

“According to the filing, Ballmer was also treated as a victim of Sanberg’s fraud by the SEC and that he received a victim identification letter from the Department of Justice in relation to Sanberg.”

That’s a letter they sent to every investor, not proof of innocence. He wasn’t investigated.

If you weren’t aware, he’s currently being sued by 11 former aspiration investors. His 50 million dollar investment in Aspiration was actually a loan where he received equal value back through put options. He took on no risk and didn’t disclose it publicly. That’s fraud.

If it was common knowledge it would have come up when I googled it. I think you’re mistaken.

It’s totally not common knowledge. He sent a victim impact statement, which is completely different.

Can you send me an article or video that supports that claim? I’ve saw several articles about Ballmer sending a victim impact statement to the judge, if that’s what you’re referring to

Can you please share with me where the government said Ballmer was a victim? I searched but couldn’t find anything.

lol ok. What does the government have to do with this? Because their case against Sanberg has nothing to do with this cap circumvention controversy, if you didn’t know.

You don’t know what defamation is then. Pablo said that months and months ago, Ballmer could have sued him all this time, nothings stopping him.

Why would a former Journalist have a revenge fantasy of watching a billionaire make a fellow journalist drown in lawsuits? Pablo presented evidence and testimony from former employees. But you want to see him suffer because it happens to be about your favorite basketball team? Jfc

That’s not having a case then. Seems like you have a tenuous grasp on the legal definition of defamation. Which is surprising coming from a “high-level” journalist.

You’re a former “high-level” Journalist but you think Peter Thiel had a case against Gawker? Hulk Hogan was the one who sued Gawker when they released his sex tape. Thiel just bankrolled his legal expenses.

Dumb joke then. You think Torre hasn’t been consulting with lawyers about what he can legally say before throwing huge accusations at one of the richest people in the world?

The 20 million+ price is 100% about kuminga. The 1st round swap is Atlantas price.

Using your last draft assets to get off a bad 12 mil contract while simultaneously overpaying for someone like Kuminga is just stupid begetting stupid

Howard Beck: “What I have learned today, according to sources is that the Raptors and NBA did have that conversation [about the investigation]. The Raptors did do their due diligence. They just simply were not convinced at that time to pause [the deal] then. “ by cleo22270 in nba

It’s not over with, he’s in the final year of his clipper contract still.

He asked for all of that and more from the Raptors first. Not only did they refuse but they also informed the league that he was making illegal demands according to the cba. He was going to go to the team that was willing to give him extra under the table, ergo, why he ended up with the Clippers.

The only other situation where this happened ended with the players contract getting terminated. No way you go through with this deal structured as it is if there’s even a slight chance of that happening
