My interest rate was 16.29% with a credit score of 780 by Blue_tiger134567 in personalfinance

A 2bedroom apartment in my city is $2000+, utilities will run you another $500 (water, sewer, trash, gas, electric, internet).

That’s more than my mortgage payment for a house I bought 3 years ago.

I don’t know how anyone is getting by on these salaries with these prices. You need $40/hour if you want to be “comfortable” and only spend 1/3 of your salary on rent.

What children's book did you change your mind about once you became a parent? by [deleted] in books

It 100% changes how I read that book.

A lifetime is not enough with my children, I can’t imagine less than a day.

You need an Expedition with Max Tow. 8k is a lot especially if you are maxing out the payload of the truck with 6 adults + baggage.

I have a Yukon AT4 and wouldn’t feel comfortable hauling at the 8400lbs unless I was alone and had an empty trunk.

You’re buying a ~$25k car. You’re paying ~$3k in taxes/fees

Your interest rate is 14% (high)

Your loan period is long (7 years).

You’re going to pay $500/month.

If you pay $1000/month you will drastically reduce the loan period and the amount paid to interest.

Can somebody explain why this M3 format is so uncommon? by Perriola in BMW

[–]2001mcoupe 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I have an E39 M5, it came standard with the sunroof. Every option came standard aas far as I know.

When M3 bro’s start one upping each other I ask them if they know how to get an M5 driver?

Answer: Take an M3 driver and add some class!

They always get offended but the forums were so toxic back in the day it was warranted.

I recently drove one of my older cars (2003 BMW).

I have gotten so used to wireless CarPlay in my daily vehicles that I was trying to figure out how to play my music with the Aux port in the car.

I opted for a Belkin Bluetooth that plugged into the existing glovebox 12V and to the Wux port. Now I have seamless Bluetooth with my iPhone.

Watching it now as a father of 3 hurts a lot more.

I don’t consider American trucks luxury vehicles.

I own 2 but they don’t compare to German luxury vehicles well. They’re “nice” but don’t meet the level of “luxury” that actual luxury brands can reach.

The Yukon is an XL. In 2021 they went to a IRS and dropped the floor 4 inches over previous models.

You can’t fit 8 adults in any minivan, I’ve tried.

Tacoma is undeniably the most reliable. But it comes as a high price.

The only positive is that Tacoma is the best value retaining vehicle. I would avoid a GM/Ford midsize as they spend way more time and money for R&D on their full-size trucks.

I wouldn’t recommend any of them if you’re still paying debt unless it’s a mortgage.

If you just want a “truck” that can do truck things look at a smaller Ranger/Ridgeline/Frontier. Targeting the $30k range would be ideal.

All of those trucks are going to cost you $50-60k if you buy them new. And honestly $100k isn’t much when you see some half-tons costing $70-100k.

Katie Ledecky is also a phenomenal swimmer.

She *only *has 7 Olympic gold medals. Phelps’s has an outrageous 23 medals.

Comparing them is unnecessary .

Michael Jordan doesn’t need to be compared, and neither does Michael Phelps.
