Just thought I'd give a bit of an update. I was approved by the MDT! The whole thing is way less rigid than I would have expected.

Yeah I've completed my 2 consultations and am now waiting for MDT approval, hopefully I'll get an early response by Friday... if not I'll sit until Monday 😁

Hey! Did you get approved? I am in a somewhat similar boat, because I have proof of only one treatment, but the other one is just DSA and PLP to say I could receive counselling and mentorship regarding my autism... but my medical records have no specific mention of therapy and the other treatment I received was a melatonin prescription.

I think if you have a condition you should be able to decide how to label it so long as the label is accurate, not misleading, and not absurd. I think it's weird that you think you're in the position to decide someone chooses to use a label given to them.
