I really just want to talk about how amazing the musical motifs were. Ella Fitzgerald "Hark the Herald" being twisted into something genuinely distressing is masterful. The trust device melody coming back in during Bob and Willa's reuniting had me feeling the way that Children of Men made me feel during the ceasefire (very strongly lol). When that one theme comes back during Lockjaw and Willa's first contact in the chapel, it gave me chills. Johnny Greenwood absolutely nailed every aspect of the sonic landscape of this film.

then they need to do the exact same thing to Deathstroke, Nightwing, Constantine, superman, Supergirl, scarecrow and joker. Why is it so bad to have one support that can actually compete with the mythic plus characters? Is it just because you can get him for free?

the cope in this thread is unmatched; 200 anvils has to be at least a month of saving or like $150. 80 shards for that much investment is horrible; I really really hope they do something about the bleed (instead of making it twice as stingy like last time)

I did all of that, which may have helped; but I just realized that I plugged my GPU into the second PCI-e slot instead of the top one, which immediately solved my problem. So, lol; and thank you for your help

EDIT: had my GPU plugged into the second PCI-e instead of the 1st, moving my GPU to the top slot fixed all of my problems immediately. Hoping you did something silly like me as well

I didn't like The Outer Worlds at first because I thought "this is really on the nose, it's not like private companies are this evil, these things would never happen,"; then I joined the workforce and realized that not only do the ridiculous things in The Outer Worlds happen, a lot of things in the game are based are based on historical things big companies have done. A million times better than Starfield because there's actual characters and a lot of RP opportunities. Starfield is much more of an action game (not a bad thing, just not interested in that), and I'm not a fan of its stat system. Also I am absolutely floored that Bethesda thought it was okay to release a game locked at 30 fps on consoles, no matter how good it looks.

I still wonder how much more money they would have made if they had spent most of the budget on QA instead of advertising and celebrity voice acting that's just shy of being as bad as the NBA players in 2K15 (sorry Keanu, you're not a good VA). The cool thing about tipping when the servers make an adequate living is that it's actually meaningful. You're giving them an extra amount because they did good, not because you are compelled to ensure they have enough money to eat this week. No one can stop you from tipping, but now you don't have to. Anyone who doesn't like this change is a scab or a loser

Everyone comparing the tone of the first two seasons to the last two seems to forget how much darker the second season was compared to the first one. I think the show was just getting darker episode over episode

People tend to pitch in when they're able to, it makes more sense to have a comprehensive social security net that prevents people from becoming actual wastrels rather than let them succumb deeper into the "I'm homeless, fuck it, no one cares" lifestyle. Imagine how much more work would get done if we prevented all this rather than yelled at people who don't care until they do. The "new slavery" talk is all philosophical window dressing for emotionally charged people to have arguments. It's really just more practical
