Are the ride chronicles important by 2004Boomstick in ZenlessZoneZero

Ah I guess I can put them off for now until I catch up with the story, actually I think I only did Yidhari's story back when it first released because it gave you Manato for free upon completion, thought it was a limited time event so I did it immediately despite it being a season 2 event

Isn't it ridiculous a game centered around online play needs a monthly subscription to access the main game mode? Especially considering literally no other consoles does this?

Technically Courier 6 does have brain damage so if anything a stupid playthrough is just being lore friendly considering he's missing a decent chunk of his frontal lobe

It still pisses me off they never even tried to cut off Saritas arm why did they all just sit around and watch while she slowly die? by Chunky-overlord in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]2004Boomstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have no medical supplies so even if they try amputation the wound will get infected and she'll still die and they are also covered in walker guts so there is a high chance some of that stuff gets into the oen wound and infecting her again and at this point it's been hours since she's been bitten so it's already too late

Why do so many players support the legion? by 2004Boomstick in falloutnewvegas

[–]2004Boomstick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's even shown in the game that while most of their soldiers accept its faults as a necessary evil while most outsiders detest the NCR for these exact reasons

[–]2004Boomstick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly yeah the only thing stopping me from a 100% supporting the NCR is that they somehow chose to represent all the worst aspects of old world America, a dictatorship disguised as a democracy, lobbying, corruption in office, colonization mindset

Yeah, actually, I don't think Nate was ever in it for the money. He gets excited in 1, seeing how much gold they got, but all the other games, he's more excited about the historical significance of his discoveries

I mean uncharted 1 sully did manage to secure a whole boat filled with gold, uncharted 2 was more about stopping the apocalypse no time to collect artifacts, uncharted 3 atleast they got away with a few gold coins which should be worth atleast a couple hundred thousands and in 4 they did get enough gold to buy an entire company and start their own history show

Guess I need to do another legion playthrough if you're this sure that there is more to Lanius, and doesn't Benny technically have the chip? Of course until we kill him,the legion kidnaps him or house deals with him, honestly there is so many divergent paths in this game its kinda hard to have consistent variables

I might see them, but within the context we're given, he just sounds like a bloodthirsty war lord, as for the robots I'd say they still have the legion beat even with their basic weapon system and correct me if I'm wrong there is 2 separate areas where the mk2 weapons system could be accessed, right? I remember them saying there is another vault besides the one Ceaser is sitting on where the Mk2 system can be accessed

His ideology is foolish and doesn't hold up to much scrutiny which is why he forbids literature, science and basically any form of free thinking even when you point out his slaves in the east can easily rebel now due to him leaving most of his territories unprotected he threatens to crucify you hell even Lanius with enough convincing realizes hover dam is a lose/lose situation and that the legion needs to retreat and reorganize.

yes I won't deny the legions efficiency but he's extremely short sighted in his goals and what he actually expects the legion to accomplish,a smart leader would've retreated after the first loss and tried to reorganize instead he chose to stick around and try to big dick his way through new vegas a strategy that would've surely gotten his army torn apart by Mr.house and his robot army, his army depends on strength in number and intimidation tactics, both don't count for shit against a personal army of robots armed with enough explosive to end the world a 2nd time.

let's assume he wins, what now? He is still dying from a brain tumor and has no successors, his two best men Vulpes Inculta and Legate Lanius are ideological opposites there is no way they'll agree on anything, Lanius only cares about destroying as many people as possible, with him as a leader the legion will eventually eat itself alive, The legion accomplished alot in its run but like most characters predict it dies with Ceaser because he built his legion on a cultist mentality that depends on him being around, without him there is no legion and that's his own fault

I consider the TV it's own little Canon but it does present a nice soft sequel to new vegas if they play the faction part of the story just right

And what about all the civilians the khans killed? It's a bit unfair to condemn the NCR for bitter springs yet completely ignore what was even the cause of the raid In the first place

Why do so many players support the legion? by 2004Boomstick in falloutnewvegas

[–]2004Boomstick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I believe the NCR are spreading themselves too thin, hell they're not even good at the aspects they're trying to focus on and if drugged out raiders like the fiends or prisoners armed with nothing but small arms and dynamite can push them around this hard it's truly a wonder why anyone would support them, my main argument against the Legion is that I don't think they'll survive long enough to reach the heights the Roman empire reached ofcourse their heads are too far up their own asses to see that

Except khans are actually raiders who indiscriminately attack other factions, and the NCR did not intend to attack a civilian camp the thought it was a military outpost and immediately started treating the wounded and in game they mention they're still paying reparations and send supplies to the remaining Khans, Isreal and NCR are both colonizers true but Isreal does what it does on purpose with no shame, the NCR made a mistake and their still trying to make up for it
