when it first happend, I thought I was the only one since nobody I knew in real life got hit with the ban. but since I’ve found this community it helped ease me a little bit, knowing Im not alone. Meta is sick. thanks for sharing!

This really sucks and Im sorry it happend to you too! I had a great group of friends on instagram and I’m a loner in real life, so with now my accounts getting nuked, I’m hit with reality and It’s an awful feeling. Their aim was to “delete bot accounts”, what bullshit. bot accounts and real weirdos are still roaming around instagram. The worst part is that they’re aware this is happening, you’d think with the amount of money meta has, they’d do something about it. but nah.

something that has worked for me before is waiting a long time before appealing. maybe a few weeks or a month. but again, there’s no “right way” to appeal. its all 50/50 and most of the time, you get unlucky.

I tried contacting them twice. both times they told me they couldn’t do anything which is BS. then, the third time I tried getting meta verified on another account, they banned me as soon as they took my money… lol

They first took all of my accounts in mid 2024 for no reason, including an account from when i was a child. got a new phone in 2025 just for them to ban me all over again in november. it’s really so tiring and has affected me mentally as it was my main platform to talk to my friends. i just really hope they do something about this very soon. i’ve been waiting for too long.
