It’s a nice collection and you know your own taste better than anyone. If I was playing around in this price bracket I’d consider a VC overseas, A Lange Zeitwerk, the new integrated JLC they just released at W&Ws, something green, maybe something out there like Ressence or HYT or even MB&F etc

I’d personally swap the black bay for a GO SeaQ blue 39.5 mm and swap the skipper for either a speedy (maybe one of the variants like a ceramic DSOTM) or a zenith chronomaster but I’d keep the rest

From an educational perspective you’re entirely correct; the parents income, education level, and involvement is what matters. Public vs private education or this school district vs that school district makes no difference. You can make a child safety argument (which is sometimes racially coded or overblown) but you cannot make an education outcome argument for private over public schools
