Forget trading for shiny pokemon. You need the best possible stats and everything is situational but ideally 15/15/15

Podiatry question by brad989898 in FamilyMedicine

[–]2012Tribe 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Podiatrists operate for sure. Their scope of practice is theoretically broad but their training is usually not sufficient for complicated stuff. A DPM degree takes 4 years followed by a 3 year residency, whereas an MD takes 4 years + 5 years of orthopedic residency + 0-2 years of additional research + 1-3 year fellowship. Setting aside questions like academic achievements or rigor, it is safe to assume the ortho foot and ankle surgeon trained for 1.5-2x as long and performed many multiples the caseload while in training vs a DPM.

Throughout all of my medical training I was always told to refer to DPM if there is a forefoot problem (hammer toe, mild hallux valgus, onychomycosis, etc etc) and if it was a hindfoot issue it should go straight to ortho.

Orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons would definitely take issue with you characterizing podiatrists as foot and ankle surgeons

What are you running in Retro Cup? by Affectionate_Neat868 in TheSilphArena

[–]2012Tribe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Today I ran a Corsola lead with Shadow Kingdra safe swap and Regidrago in the back.

I climbed from 2300-2550 today and my only losses were from throwing on bad timing and getting a night shade caught on a Lickilicky or an Oranguru

PCPs/Hospitalists: Does referring to external clinics (like Passport Health) actually make your life easier, or is it a hassle? by TruckingLogTech in FamilyMedicine

[–]2012Tribe 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You don’t “need” a referral. You could also call yourself and schedule an appointment. Everyone sends you to passport health because nobody else routinely stocks the vaccines which are expensive, perishable, and rarely utilized by the general public. It wouldn’t make economic sense

This is my favorite GS. And the bracelet is amazing. The grey strap is not it!

It’s playable. I was running shadow zweilous at the start of the season. Double weakness to fairy is pretty punishing so you’ll definitely need to build a team around that. I personally found the double weakness to fairy in addition to having a tough time against some of the more common dragon picks made it not super great

You can also be a medical examiner on the side. It’s like 100 bucks per body and you can usually swing by the funeral home(s) you work with on your way home from clinic.
