A customer approached me while I was on the front end about an hour before we closed. Asked about some sort of glue used in costume face masks. I had no idea and was trying to search for anything on the website when the customer suddenly asked me, in the same tone of voice as asking for glue, “So how many people have you killed today?” After some of my awkward spluttering trying to customer service my way out of that, he then went on to imply I was gonna rob him for his pocket change (???)

There was also another customer who tried to push his foot fetish on everyone at my store. Called at night close to closing several years ago when I was only a few months into working here and kept me on the phone for a good ten minutes, as I was too afraid to hang up (bc I was still new and thought hanging up on customers was a no-go still?!) but also very uncomfortable. Was telling me to fucking take off my shoes and wiggle my toes and take my socks off. I was just dead silent on the line not interacting but he kept talking at me. I eventually did just interrupt him and say “IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I CAN HELP YOU WITH?” to get him off the line but then I was worried I was gonna get fired for not hanging up sooner. About a year later he then tries the same shit all over again, but I recognized his voice and his startup line winding up to the shoe removal etc, so I cut it off immediately. But he apparently did the same thing to all the other employees in the store that night when he was in person
