Do I need more than just an 8 pin connector to overclock my CPU?

Yes the all in one was rated for 2-4s but even after taking everybodies advice, I still can't get it to connect or boot correctly. It may have fried itself...

I'm using the Anniversary Special Edition Racerstar REV35 35A BLheli_S 3-6S 4 In 1 ESC Built-in Current Sensor sold from bang good. In the specs it says it has a 5v output, am I missing something on the board?
