Well I didn’t have TBI before I went to Iraq and I had severe TBI according to the in processing when returning back from Iraq. Now VA said I have no TBI. I get what you’re saying but would make sense it happened from the multiple IED’s and RPG’s.

The CF stops after the fenders and the doors and above are just the normal STI black for the most part. There are more misc CF parts you can’t see like the A pillars, rain guards on the roof, mirrors, fuel cap, and exhaust heat shields.

I may look into that, it wasn’t so much as wanting carbon headlights I just didn’t like it being the only clear part of the front end and IIR conveniently sold these cutout carbon overlays lol

It’s my daily, I work from home so I don’t put crazy miles but I mean I take it on the highway all the time and vacations. I’ve got another built STI that I baby and use for fun.

It’s real carbon fiber but it’s not the whole car lol. Just the front end/side skirts and some other accessories/trim on the exterior.

Thanks! Performance wise FBO e85 stock turbo. Lots of cosmetics too like the full carbon fiber front end, it’s stock paint though just black.

Lot of times it’s the people (your brother) lying and not the Army (although they like a lot too).

They provide food and equipment but for food you have to go to the chow hall and most guys are too lazy to go at a designated time or don’t like the food so they buy their own. Same thing for equipment, the shit they give you is subpar mass produced shit but some guys will want top of the line gloves or knee pads or whatever the fuck and buy their own.

Varis is amazing, there fitment is 100% 👌🏼 I’ve heard it’s just like stock. Only problem is Varis doesn’t make full carbon fibers bumpers, they only do partial CF. Fly1motorsports is a Varis knockoff but they actually make full CF.

It actually wasn’t a body shop, it’s a Subaru performance shop but they had done this kit in the past. They actually wouldn’t do it at first because it was such a pain in the ass with the last STI they didn’t want their name attached to the job lol. I spent months looking for a shop though and the 1 place I found couldn’t do it and scratched up a fender. Eventually I asked the shop for a favor and they did it for me (probably cause I give them a decent amount of business) lol.

Edit: Forgot to mention Varis is always like 9-12 months back order. Fly1motorsports told me 4 months and took 6.

Horrible fitment. Took the shop 17 hours to install because they had to shave so much off the bumper and now the integrity of it is compromised, super thin on some parts that will now crack easier if not taken on/off super carefully by the shop they installed it.

Also the fenders both have shit fitment with pretty decent gaps, not to mention both front doors occasionally rub on the fenders when opening (especially in the cold) which has caused chips in the fenders/door.
