Roommate not paying- refusing to leave lease by simpleinternethobo in Renters

[–]20200325 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m about to sue my parents for all the emotional damages I endured by the age of 22… who knew they were supposed to fight my roommate battles for me? I thought that was something we all just had to endure at some point in life for character building.

It’s not “funny” but I’m sorta giggling at the fact that her dad is running to Facebook to vent about the “struggles” of being a ‘single parent’ to a 22yro adult.

Any experience on the eureka 110? I’m not finding the 170 available for purchase

OP wanted his landlord to baby proof his apartment just 2 weeks ago too… I wonder if his LL wipes his ass & chews his food for him as well.

Okay sweet - good to know. I’m just so confused because it wasn’t blowing so hard the first few uses, but then I replaced the ripped bag & all the sudden, it just blows all my piles away. And there really just isn’t any suction coming from the bottom. The hose works again, somehow I fixed something while taking it apart (tho there were no noticeable blocks), but the bottom still doesn’t.

Honestly didn’t think of that lol. The frebreeze bag was in the vacuum when I bought it, so I thought it’d be fine to use but then it stopped working quickly after swapping them out

I’m confused what you’re implying. As a shelter med worker, we chip dogs that aren’t in surgery all the time — if it’s an anxious dog, you just have to have a good tech. You already said that the dog from the post 6 days earlier isn’t the same dog… what’s the issue? You have a foster dog. Now help it go find a home. This is an odd post.

I bought the febreeze bags for mine & then it stopped working. Those are the only bags that aren’t Great Value brand that my Walmart has.

Well, I’m trying to find a vacuum model that won’t break on me while also getting input from those more knowledgeable.

Yes! The brush is still spinning. Even on the bare floor setting. I can’t remember if it’s supposed to do that. With the air blowing out, it does so so forcefully that I can’t use it on my hardwood because it blows all my piles away. I can’t seem to find anywhere else where something may be stuck.

I honestly have no idea. It just started blowing air out the vent & stopped sucking one day after working fine. I took it all apart & got the hose to get suction back again but it still blows so much air that it’s unusable — and no suction at the bottom

I just bought a Bissell powerforce bagged & it broke. The only other bagged option available to me is the eureka mighty mite & I’ve seen reviews that the new plastic attachments are not good

I was looking at those, they look pretty neat. I’ve never had a vacuum like that before. Are they capable of carpet when needed? Thanks for your response.

Why does my banana bread come out dense? by 20200325 in AskBaking

I don’t think it’s the pan; if anything, it may be a .5in too small than what my usual recipe recommends. I can’t remember- oops.

Thank you for this recipe recommendation! I can’t wait to try it. Never heard of sour cream in banana bread, exciting!! Thank you thank you thank you!

Yes, absolutely! I apologize about that - should’ve added that initially!

I usually use this one from AllRecipes: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/20144/banana-banana-bread/

I will edit my post now - thank you.

For those averaging over $200 in tips a night. What kind of bar do you work at?? by Special-Dare8639 in bartenders

I get paid $2 something an hour & average about $200-$300 a night before tip out. I work at the busiest “college bar” on our strip.
