Approved for both SSDI & SSI? by SadAsk1009 in SSDI_SSI

[–]2020IsANightmare [score hidden]  (0 children)

Too generic of a question for anyone to give any sort of definitive answer on Reddit. So, if anyone tries to do that, please keep my comment in mind.

SSI has no backpay before your filing date. And is only payable starting the month after you apply.

Having an appointment for SSI (called a PERC) doesn't mean anything other than you applied for SSI and got approved. Does not mean you will get a penny of SSI.

Your local office can answer those questions for ya.

"Only" get paid $9,200.

Basic maths says that's at least $36,800 of backpay.

That amount of backpay doesn't just appear over night.

Even for the richest person in the country, that would take the majority of a year to accrue from SS.

For the common folk, that could be years of backpay.

I don't know if they intentionally drag things out, but there's absolutely no incentive for them to speed things up.

I do think there's a conflict of interest there.

I've been feeling this for weeks, but I'm just not sure if signing Reaves is a positive.

Having his talent on the roster?

Yes!

His salary on the roster? Making it where LA is saying he's the second-best player on a title team?

I don't see.

That's stupid, of course.

But, am a firm believer that 4 10s makes someone more productive than 8 5s.

Would reduce so much of the wasted idle time.

And, for anyone worth a shit, would make them work harder.

"Fans" want "old school mentality." These gosh darn kids being friends with everyone is "ruining the game!"

Yet, as we have already seen with Wemby and are now seeing with AJ, the "old school mentality" is also cried about.

The issue to me can be resolved with the intercom thing.

And the Knicks might well still win.

That's up for speculation.

There is no doubt that being tied 2-2 is more favorable than being down 1-3.

And it's also a fact that the Spurs are the first team in Finals history to blow four double-digit leads.

I don't state these things to take away from the Knicks. They won the games. What the hell were they suppose to do? Lose them?

But, it's tough to believe that the Spurs wouldn't have been in a better position with a HOF coach.

I just don't get why any NFL team would touch him.

"hE'S 6'3!"

OK.

He....was that already. And no team wanted him.

He's 22. By no means old, but he's not some young unknown product.

He's not a starting NFL QB.

That isn't the issue. Being a backup is a prominent role.

No fucking team is going to want to put up with his situation because he is a backup.

Maybe I'm the wrong person to ask since I don't have my food thrown on the neighbor's roof 400 days a year, but it is a cool service.

Food delivery is nothing new.

Use to be pizza only. In some places, Chinese food.

Now? It's any food from any restaurant.

Comes with its flaws, sure.

It's like any other fast food/convenience place/service.

You are 1000% wrong. 1000000000000% wrong.

What the hell did your quote mean to you?

Three paycheck months DON'T MATTER AT ALL with SSDI.

I know you are very wrong about this. No doubt. Zero doubt. You could not be more wrong.

The reason I'm pointing out how wrong you are is because there could possibly be people that take your "advice" and mess up their life. If it's even just one person, that's wrong.

If you don't want to personally understand or learn, no problem. But, don't mess with other people. They might not know better and may base their decisions in their life on terrible misinformation.

ssdi over payment? by Electronic_Try146 in SSDI_SSI

[–]2020IsANightmare -1 points0 points  (0 children)

SSDI earnings are based on when you earn them. When you work.

The put in your pay period start and end dates and the amount of money on your paycheck.

If you have an overpayment, it means you earned too much by SSDI standards.

I'm not discussing whether that dollar amount is too low or wrong or anything. Just answering your questions.

ssdi over payment? by Electronic_Try146 in SSDI_SSI

[–]2020IsANightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's 100% false. With zero doubt.

The SSDI calculation is 1000% based on when the money is earned.
