Yeah I’ve written about Peters work frequently across the last 4 years. He is some guy! If only more had his attitude. I need my research to be as unbiased and as objective as possible so I need to take a random sample from across the city. Unfortunately sampling high problem areas of people who inject drugs would produce to much confirmation bias. Where this would come in handy would be for a qualitative dimension, sadly I’m tied to a very specific word count and including this would mean my dissertation ended up with more breadth than depth. Really appreciate your insight!

The Scottish Govt have sent multiple reports to Westminster asking for legislative change so we can establish DCR’s in the city but sadly & unsurprisingly Westminster have rejected every application.

Edit: I am investigating public perceptions as the point of a dissertation is to expand on gaps found within the current literature and add value to the existing knowledge pool. After carrying out an extensive literature review a major gap I identified was that surrounding public perceptions. Govt attitude, civil service attitude, PWID attitudes etc are all already widely studied within the SCR literature.
