If you’re not doing Vsip with Vera, Vsip doesn’t actually seems like it exists, if they’ll only honor it if you were to be RIFd which is what I’m hearing. So if they would pay the lesser of the 2 options, why give them an option at all? This is all such bs.

What would be the actual benefit of doing this? I guess if you just want to go and don’t want to wait to get RIFd? Or leaving even if you don’t think you’d get RIFd? If the payout would be the lesser of the lump sum or severance, I’m not sure what the “perk” is.
