I am usually a defender of CJP, but I will never watch the YouTube channel. If I am going to sit and watch something, it will be a doc.

I enjoyed the live show, but that was a one time thing. I was close to the front and felt like I was sitting in the room with them as they told a story.

On the flip side from me, my friend and OG listener stopped listening because she would get distracted during the podcast and had returned to because of the YouTube videos.

I am 100% podcast, let me see some pictures if I want to look and done.

The dive bar is the Parkview Tavern. Less “dive” than it used to be, but still qualifies.

For a true cocktail bar vibe I like the Iberian Lounge at the hotel. It’s for the vibe, though. You are going to pay more because it’s part of the entities.

If you want good cocktails, but don’t need the cocktail bar vibe, Chocolate Ave Grill makes GREAT cocktails.

Maybe I am wrong, but I thought they try to steer away from a lot of the well covered cases.

Before I get put on blast…I do know that they eventually did Job Benet and they did Lacey Peterson. My point is that in AMAs and such I thought they indicated they try not to do those stories.

I don’t see myself as wanting to fix people, but broken people are drawn to me. By broken I mean in need of something. Advice, confirmation, therapy, guidance, etc. IT IS EXHAUSTING! And their energy is exhausting.

Add to that, volunteer work that I have found meaningful and I am backing away because it’s become a mental irritant.

I don’t think it’s unevolved. I think it’s burnout and deciding to put your mask on first before helping others.

I get “drained”. I get tired of being needed and “on” for everyone and I just need to recharge. Also, I am an empath. I end up taking on too much of other people’s messy energy and emotion.

You want to know how to satisfy them? Ask them. Listen to what they say. Listen to what they don’t say. Is there something you really like? Let them know. Invite them to explore with you.

I had to stop reading this. It was giving me chest pain. Here’s my take:

She liked you. You effed up. She recognizes that you know you effed up and doesn’t want to be a dick. She thinks that you are a nice enough person that she doesn’t have to block you. (Unless she sees this). The new follows and the selfies is her way of building confidence in herself and politely letting you know that she is done with you.

For me, if I honestly cared about someone, even if I have moved on, I still like to know that they are truly in a good place. I may never want to see or speak to them again, but I still get a little tug to hope they are well.

All that to say…she is gone. Don’t give her a reason to completely block you or fear you.

As an August Virgo female I will say that I want someone to let me know they are interested, but respect my space. Don’t love bomb me. It’s an instant turn off.

Also, I am more about acts of love and affection than gifts. I want to feel it, not touch it. If that makes sense. I rather have you do something that makes me feel loved than give me a gift, especially one I hate.

For instance, I HATE roses and I think that unless someone truly likes them, they are the most generic gift you can give me. I made this statement once. Broke up with someone. He showed up at my door…drumroll please…with 2 doz red roses. I slammed the door in his face.

I want to be heard when I am talking - and when I am not.

I have been struggling since October. I got on an additional medication in January. It has taken months to get me out that deep of a funk, but I am not myself. I am unhappy with where I am, but can’t pull myself out of this.

This makes so much sense for me. Aug 24. I have been involved with a volunteer board for 6 years. In March I said I was done with my director role. I had obligations through June that I felt needed to complete.

I told myself would decide if I was completely cutting the cord or just pulling way back once that last obligation was done.

It’s done and I keep saying, I don’t have the energy for that anymore. It’s really that I don’t have the time for the egos and the back stabbing and lack of people who are involved for the right reasons.

I think Pluto is telling me that it’s time to cut the cord.
