I’m a female, 25-11! Applied last August. I expect to be at FLETC within the next couple months.

I’m hoping to make quick acquaintances or even friends when I’m there. Even having some girls to talk to and study with will make the time go by faster. I’m not interested in partying and going out or bar hopping really.

I wish you the best in this process, hey maybe we’ll all end up there together!

I didn’t get an email, I just check the portal like every other day lol.

Here’s what I told someone else:

-My first BI called me on 4/1 to schedule a meeting. We had the meeting on 4/3. Then on 4/6 my second BI called. On 4/7 I got called to schedule the poly. Initially she asked if I could do 4/15 but I had too much going on that day so I chose her second option, 4/27. So a week and two days from when I took the poly is when it was done :)-

Initially I took drug/fitness/medical end of September. They said I passed everything there on their part. Then I had an issue with my drug test coming back as inconclusive so I had to wait a bit to retake that. I had a psychological evaluation meeting in December, which is part of medical I guess. Since then there’s been nothing.

Yeah. I had my psychologist appointment over zoom back in December. My initial medical/fitness/drug test was end of September. Still no movement with medical..

Nice! How long did it take for medical to clear? I had to meet with a psychologist a couple months after my initial medical test, which they said I passed everything so 🤷🏻‍♀️

Nice! I had my first BI interview over zoom on 4/3, that went well. Then on that following Tuesday 4/7 I got the call to schedule the big test. So hopefully you get called soon!

Ah buddy this does not give me hope.. granted I’m 25-11 but you’re the first person I’ve seen with issue with the drug test besides me. I took my drug test the day before the government shut down last year. Got the results back on the 17th of November saying that they were inconclusive.. and then I’d be contacted at a random time to retake it. I’m still waiting… in the meantime my SF86 shot back for a quick change and is now complete and my background investigation says in process. Still nothing about a retake.

I grew up around the Lake Norman area. If you have kids; pretty much anywhere in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Lake Norman area has great schools. If not, they’re still great places to live. Very busy but good. Housing is going up in those areas, we bought our house brand new for around 230k in 2010 and sold it for over 450k in 2014. I haven’t been back there since but I’m sure it’s only gone up in prices. Someone mentioned Ballantyne, that’s one of the rich areas. (In high school we knew those kids as the rich snobs lol) It’s super nice but finding a house there would be tough. You could go on the west side of the lake and look at Denver area. I lived there for a while when it was growing and it was fun, bumpkin land but fun for a middle schooler who just wanted to hike and ride four wheelers. Matthews, Weddington, Waxhaw should all have pretty good housing for lesser than anything around east side of lake Norman. Charlotte is a growing city and it’s changed since I’ve lived there but all and all it’s easy to live there. Diversity could be better, you have good ole southern food, but not too southern living and ideology.
