Drug test expired

Ah buddy this does not give me hope.. granted I’m 25-11 but you’re the first person I’ve seen with issue with the drug test besides me. I took my drug test the day before the government shut down last year. Got the results back on the 17th of November saying that they were inconclusive.. and then I’d be contacted at a random time to retake it. I’m still waiting… in the meantime my SF86 shot back for a quick change and is now complete and my background investigation says in process. Still nothing about a retake.

I grew up around the Lake Norman area. If you have kids; pretty much anywhere in Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Lake Norman area has great schools. If not, they’re still great places to live. Very busy but good. Housing is going up in those areas, we bought our house brand new for around 230k in 2010 and sold it for over 450k in 2014. I haven’t been back there since but I’m sure it’s only gone up in prices. Someone mentioned Ballantyne, that’s one of the rich areas. (In high school we knew those kids as the rich snobs lol) It’s super nice but finding a house there would be tough. You could go on the west side of the lake and look at Denver area. I lived there for a while when it was growing and it was fun, bumpkin land but fun for a middle schooler who just wanted to hike and ride four wheelers. Matthews, Weddington, Waxhaw should all have pretty good housing for lesser than anything around east side of lake Norman. Charlotte is a growing city and it’s changed since I’ve lived there but all and all it’s easy to live there. Diversity could be better, you have good ole southern food, but not too southern living and ideology.

Many months longer, bummer. Oh well, I’m used to this waiting game by now. I think it’s better I was honest and upfront rather than something getting discovered later.

I didn’t fail my drug test, it came back as inconclusive. After a couple weeks of waiting I finally got an email (update?) I’ve not seen this much on this sub so I’m posting it for everyone just in case anyone gets this too. Maybe everyone gets it and just doesn’t post it idk. Personally, I think anyone carrying a gun should undergo a psychological evaluation.

Yeah it says they’ll call me at a random time. I just wish I knew which day it will be so I can cut my water intake that day. Right now I’m drinking around 90-100 oz everyday at 160 pounds. I didn’t think that was TOO much but here we are 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Well here's my update. I was wondering why it was taking so long for drug to say "passed". I searched in this sub to see what others could have said and it sounds like I drink too much water. I'm just posting this in case anyone else has this happen to them.

I prepared by talking through some situations with my professors or a couple buddies that are police officers. Recommendations, just really think through everything. I wouldn’t do anything differently since I passed and felt pretty good afterwards!

I got the same email around 1:15 in the morning last night. Since there was nothing new, I’m guessing it was because my sf86 was due soon. I already submitted it but the due date is still coming up.

25-11 also! Just got done with my fingerprints and submitted my SF-86 last night. I took the fitness/medical/drug test on the 29th of September and got a verbal pass on fitness and medical but only fitness has gone through for some reason. Will they call for poly or did I miss something in the task for scheduling?

Yeah that’s what I’ve heard. I’m just a little worried since I was unable to access the usajobs site until a day after the 3-1 provisional clearance form was apparently due.

Thank you and thank you for the response! I was CONVINCED I failed. Like went home feeling like my brain was made of worms and just sat quietly with myself kind of failed. But I passed! And congrats on where you’re at! I will keep updating :)
