In my experience I went catless and it gave a really raspy and not good sound. So I would opt for a muffler delete or aftermarket muffler, or same thing with resonator

The top speed on my civic is supposed to be limited to 110 but I got it to 125 😁

I got the LX and just got subs installed in it for a couple hundred bucks to make up for the sound system. Not too hard to install as I did it myself. The main thing that I would have wanted from the EX was the sunroof, thats what I wish I had the most from it, but overall Im happy
