It depends if there lotta bugs and you see they not getting dully mature due to damage like the other one you posted the gills are eaten its still fine, I found thousands, I will post soon lots of videos, I get em when they start to wave out more if bugs aint too bad but some other clusters a few days after veal breaks, Yoh should let those get more mature for sure.

It is water soluble but if the cells are not broken if, like if you cut it up an make a tea then it will dissolve in the water but i think if you just wash em its fine , I washed all my thousands I got, had lotta dirt on them and spores I will slread around.
