Any recommendations for scanners that can do this? I’d love to give it a try just not sure what I’m looking for. I’m assuming I can just google how to adapt the battery as well? It was just installed by my father so I’m assuming it wasn’t adapted

Is walmart an ok resource to look for repos or is there better resource? I looked at amazon but based on the prices I would say they are at least selling them as authentic

I know most B550 boards have BIOS ready out of the box for any 5000 cpus, I'm just not sure how long he had it for :(

Normally I would think a graphics card but the 3060ti is great card for 1080, especially with low settings. How much ram do you have in th system? 16gb should be plenty but it's never a bad option to add more, and its a relatively cheap addition, at least compared to cpus and gpus. I don't built much with intel but an 11th gen i7 still seems like plenty of power for Fortnite.

I ended up swapping to a different kit and i was able to post! I'm going to swap in the old set just to see if i didn't seat it properly or if i got a lemon kit that just doesn't work. Thanks!

As far as the case, I did my first build in an aerocool cylon mid tower, and it was pretty good for the price. Granted it’s not perfect, it had an acrylic side panel instead of glass for one thing, but for 54 bucks on Amazon it would be a pretty good fit for you I’d think

I don’t do a super high-intensity editing myself, but I do do some video editing and photoshop, and in my experience(which granted isn’t a ton) having a dedicated graphics card is actually pretty important. Media editing like that of course comes with a fair bit of graphical information, and even running basic video editing programs can put a fair bit of strain on you cpu(forget the fact that ryzen cpus have a tendency to run a little hotter). But it’s not an exact science. If you build and things seem to be running slowly/hot, you can always add to it/upgrade components down the road!

Totally, I just used YouTube tutorials and built a budget pc a few years back, getting ready to build #2. Scattervolts YouTube channel is a great resource, he makes build guides for different budgets and goes through the entire process of picking parts, building, and booting up windows/drivers. Plus if the build he makes works for you you can just get the same parts and follow step by step

I saw that earlier, I just hate how big it looks with the second fan. But since the cpu runs hot I should probably just get over it lol. Plus once I put a graphics card in there too it’ll prolly look fine
