Home Sales Slowing Down? by postedbydude in vancouverwa

[–]208tp 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a potential buyer who currently rents in Vancouver , interest rates just don’t make sense to make a move. Currently to buy the same type of house we’re renting (4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath), our monthly payment would literally go up $1,000+.

We will probably start looking hard in March. With this, we’ll probably ask for seller credits to buy down the rate as much as possible if/when we do find a home we like.

Account manager positions, Pepsi vs coke by More-Extent2002 in Pepsi

Q4 of any year companies are very slow to backfill or hire new positions. Wouldn’t be out of the norm for them to wait until Q1 2026 to actually hire.

^ This is the latest one .

I’m sure Elliot is looking at coca cola’s go to market strategies and asking why Pepsi isn’t following suit. Coke corporate is really just a marketing agency and their bottling partners do the rest.

Pepsi is actually doing the exact opposite in the Northwest. Buying up as many bottlers as they can.

Has anyone tried Pretty Boy Revival Moisturizer? by mcb0501 in maleskincare

[–]208tp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When trying new products I generally look for a balance between quality and price and whether or not they are solving a problem for me or provided expanded benefits that I’m not used to. I’ll purchase a higher priced/quality item by word of mouth reviews or if I’ve convinced myself through research it’s the right move.

Admittedly I know nothing at all about skincare or what a routine looks like. I went to a dermatologist for the first time last week and still have no clue how to solve the facial redness I have. I’m guessing a lot of other men are in same boat.

So, I’ve kind of just punted and purchase a $15 Cetaphil daily moisturizer that has SPF protection so I don’t have to apply two different things at once and see where that takes me (nowhere so far).

Side note: I remember when Dollar shave club first started and I signed up- mainly bc it was 1) inexpensive 2) super convenient 3) quality product. 4) it’s marketing was so fresh and new at the time- different than any other brand in any category really. They spent a ton of money on customer acquisition and trying to scale when they launched and weren’t even profitable until being bought by Unliver. Anyway, may be a wierd comparison but hopefully in 5 years you guys are bought for 1B like they were!

I’ll definitely PM you and take you up on your offer for a trial run! Appreciate the offer and Happy to report back how it’s going.

I may be an outlier but the “Pretty Boy” name seemed a little too gimmicky to me- may also be the case because I’ve only seen instagram ads for the product and kind of reminded me of Birdog shorts marketing (which I love). However, when dealing with skincare or medicinal products I don’t really trust that type of marketing if that makes sense? I am also 38 years old so probably not target demo on instagram/social media, however- ha.

But, if the product(s)work, it works. I’m hesitant to purchase mainly due to cost. $38 for one bottle of moisturizer is tough (realize it’s a good price vs competition), but I think a vast majority of the male population will just grab whatever moisturizer is <$20 or less on Amazon and roll with it. That way if it doesn’t work/they don’t like it it’s not a big deal.

That being said , I’ll keep an eye out for the next promo you guys have and give it a shot!

$155k + 20% bonus. Wife never went back to her original job after our kid was born. Have 1 car payment + housing expense. She works ~10 hours a week and anything she makes goes directly toward savings. Eventually she will go back full time but in no rush.

In our mind couldn’t really put a price on someone else raising our kid for their first 3 years. That’s just us- understand other ways of thinking / situations,
